Advice to prospective students?
Over the past few decades the demand for education beyond high school has steadily increased. More and more employers want workers with college degrees. While the idea of going back to school can often be overwhelming, Hope offers programs that make earning a degree quite manageable. Whether you work full-time or have other commitments, our programs are designed to work well with your schedule. Many of our programs are offered 100% online too, so you can earn your degree from virtually anywhere!
Will a degree require a commitment of time and money? Yes. But when you consider that a college degree opens up new career opportunities and the potential to earn significantly more money, it is well worth the effort. As you consider this important decision, I hope that I can be of some help. I’ve wrestled with many of the same tough questions and I’m happy to be able to help as you consider whether college is right for you.
How do you spend your free time?
That all depends on the time of year you ask me. If it’s summertime, then the answer is baseball! I’m a huge Angels fan. When I’m not enjoying a game though, I like to work on classic cars, learn carpentry, write, explore new restaurants and discover the rich cultural history of Los Angeles.

Advice to prospective students?
The decision to go back to school can be exciting, yet still very intimidating. Whether you’ve decided it is time to get ahead in your current job or you are looking to change careers and move into an entirely new field, the decision can be difficult. Don’t let your apprehension stand in the way of accomplishing your goals. You will find that the faculty at Hope wants to see you succeed and want to be a part of helping you do that. Remember that you are only limited by what you think you can’t do.
How do you spend your free time?
My wife and I love to spend our time outside. You will often find us out camping, hiking, or biking. You could say I love everything that involves sports; especially my hometown teams the Angels and the Ducks. I enjoy studying philosophy and theology and love the discussions that come from that. I love to travel and have been to nine countries on four continents and can’t wait to add another one to the list.
