Advice to prospective students?
The decision to go back to school can be exciting, yet still very intimidating. Whether you’ve decided it is time to get ahead in your current job or you are looking to change careers and move into an entirely new field, the decision can be difficult. Don’t let your apprehension stand in the way of accomplishing your goals. You will find that the faculty at Hope wants to see you succeed and want to be a part of helping you do that. Remember that you are only limited by what you think you can’t do.

How do you spend your free time?
My wife and I love to spend our time outside. You will often find us out camping, hiking, or biking. You could say I love everything that involves sports; especially my hometown teams the Angels and the Ducks. I enjoy studying philosophy and theology and love the discussions that come from that. I love to travel and have been to nine countries on four continents and can’t wait to add another one to the list.

Advice to prospective students?
In today’s fast-paced world, making the decision and commitment to go back to school can seem overwhelming and anxiety-provoking. My advice and encouragement is to see it as an investment in yourself, as a pathway to achieving your goals and dreams, which for many people can mean the realization of something they might not have thought possible. It is such an honor and blessing to walk alongside students who have made that investment and realized those dreams. The online programs, genuine caring and dedication of staff and faculty and flexibility of courses make pursuing a degree at Hope worth it! As a Hope graduate, I can wholeheartedly say that I received wonderful support and encouragement along with all the tools I needed to reach my educational goals and achieve my dreams.

How do you spend your free time?
I love to read, going to the movies, concerts, restaurants, spending time with friends, playing the piano, and volunteering with the care ministry at my church.
